PAIP® Designation

To obtain the Planning and Investment Practitioner (PAIP®) designation, candidates must complete the five modules listed below, pass one final exam, and receive a passing grade on the financial plan assigned by PAIP Canada. 

The PAIP designations includes everything covered on the PAIP.a™ designation in addition to additional topics related to corporations and trusts.

Final Examination

The final examination covers the content presented in all five modules.

Financial Plan

The financial plan will be assigned by PAIP Canada once all modules have been completed. The financial plan can be completed prior to or after the final exam.

Reference Letter

After completing the academic requirements, candidates must provide a letter of reference from their employer confirming their employment information.
